Lightning Series ESC Tutorial

Step 1: Connect the tuning board and power the ESC. First, connect the tuning board to the USB data cable and insert the data cable into the computer.
The yellow line of the ESC signal line corresponds to the D3 interface of the tuning board, and the black line corresponds to the GND interface of the tuning board.
Then power the ESC. Battery requirements: The battery voltage range must be between 20v-50.2v. Otherwise, the ESC cannot be connected or burnt out.
As shown in the picture below, just connect:

Step 2: Open the compressed package, find the software application and open it;

Step 3: Select the USB connection as shown in the figure, and then select the corresponding com port;

The com port number corresponds to the port currently inserted in the computer, which may be com3 or com4. The one in the video is com4, just select the corresponding com port.

Step 4: Click the read option to connect and read the parameters of the current ESC

The above are all the setting options and instructions for this series of ESCs, which can be set according to your needs.

After setting, click Save, as shown in the figure below:

After saving the parameters, click Read to check whether the parameters have been saved. When completed, disconnect the power and exit.

Step 6: Explain some problems that may be encountered when adjusting parameters.

1. Software error, as shown in the figure below:

Due to different production batches, this series of ESCs has two special software. The BLHeliSuite32.9 software is used in the video, but some will also use the BLHeliSuite31.1 version of the software. If the software is used incorrectly, the phenomenon in the above picture will appear.

Just change the software and connect it in the same way.

2. If you can't connect to the software?

Set it up as shown in the figure below (select in sequence):
Note that when performing this operation, unplug the ESC signal cable on the parameter adjustment board.

If you still can't connect after setting, change the computer socket and set this operation again.
