What if the underwater thruster Set stops working?
Posted by Fengyukun on
What to do if the underwater thruster unit suddenly stops working? Generally, both propellers are not working or only one propeller is working.
Case 1: Both thrusters do not rotate
There are several possibilities: 1. The power connection is poor. There is no prompt sound when connecting the power. You can check whether there is a voltage display on the remote control screen. If it is 00.0v, the power is not connected properly.
Please reconnect the power supply. The thruster will make a prompt sound. The remote control screen will display the current battery voltage. Then try to push the joystick to check whether the thruster is working properly.
2. Connect the power supply. The thruster prompt sound keeps ringing. There is no voltage and signal display on the remote control screen. This means that the remote control and the receiver are not linked. Please open the control box and check whether the green light of the receiver flashes slowly.
Binding method: turn off the remote control first, press the binding button of the receiver, the green light of the receiver flashes quickly, and then turn on the remote control. The green light of the receiver is always on, indicating that the binding is successful. Push the joystick to check whether the thruster is working properly.
The second type: one of the thrusters in the set does not operate
1. After power is turned on, one thruster does not operate. Check whether the mixing control bar on the remote control screen displays ①.
If there is no display, it means that the mixing control mode has not been entered. Turn off the remote control, press and hold the 3-channel button, and turn on the remote control at the same time. Release it after the remote control is turned on. Check whether the mixing control bar on the screen displays 1. After the setting is successful, push the joystick to check whether the thruster operates normally.
2. If the mixing control has been set, but one thruster still cannot operate, open the control box, swap the two signal lines of channels 1-2, and push the joystick. If the original operating one stops and the non-operating one operates normally again, it means that the receiver channel is damaged. If there is no change, connect the non-operating thruster to another ESC and push the joystick. If it operates normally, it means that the ESC of the original thruster is damaged. If the thruster still does not operate, it means that the thruster is damaged.
Then connect the thruster that was originally operating normally to another ESC to test whether the ESC is normal.
